Why Choose Us - Simple - We Are Not Selling Solar

Our founder has worked in Solar for nearly 15 years, and in the Electrical Contracting Industry before that. He used his extensive electrical and construction knowledge to install some of the highest volume of residential solar in the industry. During his tenure he worked for the large installers:

SolarCity (Tesla) - Vivint Solar - Petersen Dean Solar - Titan Solar Power - Semper Solaris

He was responsible for the men and women that come to your house to do the actual install on your home. In 2023 after hearing another customer talk about the Tax Credit and the Loan they had signed and not knowing what they had gotten into, he decided that his new mission in life was three pronged.

One of his biggest frustrations was to listen to customers explain what they thought solar would do and how the sale person had told them a certain thing, yet we had a contract with their signature on it and none of that was on there. He decided that it can't be all sales people were deceptive, and that the majority were repeating things they had heard, or they were simply misinformed. So the ProactiveSolar.net was born, well actually it has been born a couple years prior thinking he was going back out on his own, he never did anything with the LLC he had open. Now was the time, he could start helping instead of complaining. I, yes it's me, decided he could do three things

1. Try to get in contact with anyone considering solar on their home and provide them a place to do research on everything that has to do with Residential Solar.

2. Strive to improve the training for solar professionals on the sales side and the installation side.

3. Work for the American Consumer to help with the predatory salesman that was purposely deceitful, or that took advantage of a trusting person only to increase their financial worth.
